The Snickerthon
The Snickerthon is a multi-distance, multi-lap running event organised by How Hard Can It Be Events at Chasewater Country Park and Visitor Centre (WS8 7NL). Distances offered include:
- 5k (ish)
- 10K (ish)
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
Each lap on the course is approximately 5K, so participants complete multiple laps to reach their chosen distance. The route runs around Chasewater Country Park and uses a mixture of paths and footpaths. The terrain is described as relatively flat and wildlife such as wild deer may be visible from the course.
Event facilities at Chasewater include a cafe, toilets and a children’s park, and the site offers views across the park. Aid stations provide a selection of food and drink items during the event. Every finisher receives a medal and there is a possibility of receiving a Snickers bar. There is a parking area at Chasewater that charges for parking.
