West Milton Red, White & Run 5k
The West Milton Red, White & Run is a community 5k held on July 4 at Milton Union High School, 7610 Milton-Potsdam Rd, West Milton, OH 45383. The course includes sections through the woods at the Lowry Complex and finishes in the Milton Union track stadium.
Registration opens April 1 and closes July 4. The registration fee is $30. Registrations received by June 20 include a T-shirt. Packet pickup is offered the night before, July 3, at the Milton Union track from 5pm to 7pm.
Proceeds from the race support the Milton-Union Alliance, a non-profit with a mission to raise awareness of issues that affect the quality of Milton-Union Schools and to help create a more informed community.
Awards include top three overall male and female; course-record bonuses of $50 for both male and female; youngest and oldest racer; best spirit male and female; and age-group awards for the top three in each group. Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
