West Lorne Optimist Mother's Day Road Race

The event takes place at West Lorne Arena, 171 Graham Rd, West Lorne, Ontario, Canada. It is run by the Optimist Club of West Lorne Inc together with the Municipality of West Elgin. Proceeds support Optimist Children's Charities and the needs of local youth.

The program includes multiple race distances and a virtual participation option. Registration options include youth pricing and separate online and race day fees. The Kids Fun Run of 1K is free and the first 50 children who register on race day receive a supplied t shirt. All participants receive a finisher medal. The virtual entry does not include a t shirt or medal.

Timing uses Chip Bib Tag technology attached to the race number. Participants are asked not to remove, fold, or cover the timing ring and to pin the race number visibly on the front of their shirt. Race kit pick up takes place at West Lorne Arena on race day.
