West Georgia Turkey Trot
The 8th Annual West Georgia Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026, at Hobbs Farm in Carrollton. All proceeds benefit West Georgia children in foster care.
The event includes these distance options:
- 5K in person
- 10K in person
- 5K virtual
- 10K virtual
- Gobble Wobble 0.5 mile for young children
Registration opens August 1, 2026. Closing dates and fees vary by event: the in-person 10K registration closes September 29 with a $35 fee; the in-person 5K registration closes October 30 with a $35 fee; virtual 5K and 10K registrations close November 23 with a $30 fee; the Gobble Wobble registration closes November 8 with a $15 fee. Shirts for 5K and 10K participants are guaranteed only for registrations completed by November 1.
Race day packet pick-up and registration are available the morning of the event. Early packet pick-up is available Wednesday, November 25 at SoleRoots Running Co, 150 Maple Crossing, Ste 101, Carrollton, GA. The course begins at the entrance of Hobbs Farm, travels through the Hobbs Farm Greenbelt to the Lakeshore park area, follows the Carrollton Greenbelt, and returns to a finish near the Hobbs Farm trailhead.
