Love in Motion 5K
The Love in Motion event on November 14, 2026 in Tallapoosa, GA is organized by Steadman Baptist Church and includes a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile fun run/walk. Start and finish lines are at the Steadman Baptist Church parking lot. The 5K route winds through Steadman and finishes on the church grounds, where refreshments and post-race activities take place.

Registration is available online and in person, with an early registration discount that ends on November 8, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Fee levels are listed for early and regular registration; a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for regular registrants.
Event operations include volunteer course monitors at key intersections, at least two water stations (one at the 1 mile point and one at the finish), a designated first aid team and an emergency plan, and assigned volunteers for photography and childcare when a child registration form is completed. There will be an organized group stretch and group prayer before the races.
Awards are presented for the 5K only, including top overall male and female finishers, master categories, and multiple age-group placements; there are no awards for the 1 mile event. The event uses professional electronic timing equipment and raises funds for the church mission trip to Liberia in 2026. This is a rain-or-shine event.
