Event Overview

The WESD 5k Fun Run and Walk is the sixth annual edition of this event. It takes place at the ASU West Campus in Glendale, Arizona.

Event Details

The event is a 5k distance run or walk. There are two separate participation categories: one for participants ages 11 and up, and one for children ages 10 and under.

All participants will be timed. Awards are given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in several age divisions: 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Children aged 10 and under receive a participation medal for completing a Kids Dash, which occurs before the main 5k starts.

Water and healthy snacks are available before and after the race. Spectators are welcome. Pets are not allowed on the premises for safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
