10th Annual 5K For Hope - Rio Vista Community Park
The 10th Annual 5K For Hope takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. Families Raising Hope presents the event to raise funds that provide financial support to Arizona families navigating cancer treatment.
Event formats include a 5K run, a 5K walk, a 1-mile fun run and a virtual run option. All finishers receive a custom event medal and a custom event dri-fit shirt; there is an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. The 5K features male and female age-group awards for the top three finishers in each category, with age groups ranging from 8 & under through 80 & over.
The event is managed by StartLine Racing and offers chip timing with real-time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided. Virtual participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal; virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and apparel is mailed after the event.
Race-day packet pickup is available. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are welcome but must start at the back of the field. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. The event is pet friendly with leashes required and will proceed rain or shine with no weather refunds.
