10th Annual 5K For Hope
The 10th Annual 5K For Hope is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. The event is presented by Families Raising Hope and raises funds to provide financial support to Arizona families facing cancer, including help with groceries, utilities, rent, and transportation. The event lists a total raised amount of $5,476.48 for fundraising organizations.
Race offerings include multiple participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run
All finishers receive a custom event medal and a custom dri-fit event shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. The 5K features male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in each age group. Timing is chip based with real time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided as a runner's brunch with items such as granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink.
On-site packet pickup and race day registration are available. Mail-in registration is accepted through November 16, 2026. The virtual option is limited to US addresses and includes event medal and shirt that are mailed after the event. The course rules allow wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons starting from the back of the field; bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted.
