10th Annual 5K For Hope
The 10th Annual 5K For Hope takes place on November 21, 2026 at Rio Vista Community Park, 8866 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381. The event is presented in support of Families Raising Hope to provide financial assistance for Arizona families facing cancer.
Race formats include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run (virtual entries limited to U.S. addresses; race swag mailed after the event)
Participants receive a custom event finisher medal and a custom Dri-Fit shirt with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 reduction in registration. The 5K is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in each age division. Pre- and post-race refreshments include items such as granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drinks.
Event management and race services are provided by StartLine Racing. Race day registration and packet pickup are available. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are permitted but must start at the back of the pack; bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on course. The event is leashed pet friendly and will proceed in all weather; there are no refunds for weather-related cancellations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
