Wenzel Memorial 5K
The Wenzel Memorial 5K is a campus run/walk held at Binghamton University, with check-in and on-site registration at the East Gym. The course starts and finishes at the East Gym on Recreation Drive and follows a 5K route around campus. The event is presented in memory of a former student-athlete who competed on the men's varsity swimming and diving team and was a triathlete.
Registration opens July 28, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. Online registrants who register by September 14, 2026 will be eligible for a participant T shirt; additional T shirts will be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis with no guarantee of availability. Entry fees are $10 for students and $20 for all others; race-day cash registration requires exact change.
Entrants must be 13 years or older. The first 50 finishers will receive a participation medal. Timing will be recorded and made available online after the event. Students should enter the coupon code STUDENTWENZEL26 on the payment screen; School of Medicine students are asked to contact their school directly for a separate discount code.
