Wenlock Track Fundraising Challenge
The Wenlock Track Fundraising Challenge is a new track relay event held to raise funds for the resurfacing of the 200 m track at Much Wenlock Leisure Centre. The organiser is WENLOCK OLYMPIANS ATHLETIC CLUB. The event takes place on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Much Wenlock Leisure Centre, postcode TF13 6NB.
Teams and individual entrants, both juniors and seniors, compete to complete the maximum number of laps within a six hour period. The event accepts solo entries and teams of four to eight people. Entry types and fees listed are: individual entry at £10.00 plus a £0.75 fee, and team entries (4 to 8 persons) at £30.00 plus a £1.50 fee. Entries close on 8 May 2026 at 13:00.
The event offers prizes for the men’s, women’s and junior teams that complete the most laps, and prizes for the junior and senior individual entrants who complete the most laps.
