Race The Light at Wendover Woods : Race summary
Race The Light at Wendover Woods takes place at Wendover Woods on 18 July 2026. The event raises funds for the Chilterns Neuro Centre, which supports people affected by multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and stroke survivors. All proceeds from this event are donated directly to the Centre.
The programme offers several trail distances around the woodland. The courses are entirely on trails within Wendover Woods with no road crossings or gates, and are fully marked and marshalled so participants do not need to carry a map or GPX.
- 10K Trail 10km, approx 250m elevation gain.
- 5K Trail 5km, approx 125m elevation gain.
- 1.5K Accessible Trail fully accessible loop for wheelchair users, walkers and under 12s only.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules, with a maximum field of 500 runners. Facilities and services include chip timing with live results, a finisher medal, a water stop on the 10K route with cups provided, medical support, marked parking with discounts, bag drop, and toilets in the main building.
