About the race
The Running with the Angels event marks its 10th year on October 17, 2026, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 3825 E. Henrietta Road, Henrietta, NY 14467, USA. The event includes a 5K running race that begins and finishes at the church.
The course is a friendly, flat road route that runs through the quiet neighborhood streets surrounding St. Peter’s. The route is described as suitable for road running and follows local residential roads.
Awards are given to overall top finishers and by age group. The top overall male and female receive trophies. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female in age groups starting with 14 and under and continuing in five-year increments up to 70 and over.
Registration opens January 27, 2026 and closes October 15, 2026. Pre-registration is listed at $25, packet pickup is available the day before the race with a $25 fee at pickup, and day of race registration is listed at $30. Packet pickup takes place at St. Peter’s on October 16, 2026.
Post-race food and entertainment are part of the event, with offerings reported to include BBQ chicken, pizza, and homemade soups. A portion of proceeds supports the Wendell Hercules Scholarship Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
