Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel : Hamilton, Ontario
Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel takes place at the McMaster University Student Centre in Hamilton on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The event supports Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre, which provides free supportive care for people living with cancer and their caregivers. The event is presented as inclusive and accessible.

- Kids 1K clock timed, free, includes t shirt, medal and cape for children 12 and under
- Youth 5K clock timed, CA$15, race shirt available with purchase
- Adult 5K clock timed, CA$20, race shirt available with purchase
"Wheel" refers to mobility aids such as wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers and strollers. Bikes, roller blades and pets are not permitted on the course. Entrants pushing strollers are asked to line up near the rear of the starting area.
Practical details: race kits include bibs and shirts; kids kits add a cape and mask. Kits may be picked up by another person with the participant name or confirmation number. There is one water station at the halfway point. The course closes after 90 minutes and marshals are positioned along the route. Permanent washrooms are available inside the Student Centre and on the lower level of Gilmour Hall. Free campus parking is provided but lots nearest the Student Centre fill quickly.
