Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel
The Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel is an annual event held at McMaster University Student Centre in Hamilton, Ontario, supporting colorectal cancer awareness and fundraising for the Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre. The 27th edition features a 5K walk/run/wheel event for adults and youth, and a 1K "Best Effort" kids' run for children 14 and under. The event welcomes participants using mobility aids such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, and strollers, promoting inclusivity.
The course includes a water station and is spectator-friendly, with live music from the Hamilton All Star Jazz Band. Registration includes race shirts, and kids receive medals and superhero capes.
