Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel
The Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel is an annual event held at McMaster University Student Centre in Hamilton, Ontario, supporting colorectal cancer awareness and fundraising for the Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre. Celebrating its 27th year, the event features clock-timed 5K distances for youth and adults, as well as a 1K "Best Effort" run for children 12 and under, who receive medals and superhero capes. The course is accessible to walkers, runners, and participants using mobility aids such as wheelchairs, scooters, and strollers, promoting inclusivity.
