Wellspring's 11th Annual 5K Race for Recovery
Wellspring holds an annual 5K event on September 20, 2026 at the Bangor Waterfront, 1 Railroad Street, Bangor, ME 04401. The event is the eleventh edition of the Race for Recovery and is presented to support recovery services in the region.
Entry types include:
- 5K individual entry; registration fee $20
- 5K team entry for 3 to 5 people; registration fee $40
The Race for Recovery has raised more than $310,000 over its more than ten year history. Funds support life changing services for individuals on recovery journeys. The organizer notes that substance use disorder continues to affect thousands across Maine and that over 8,500 overdoses were reported in 2024.
Registration for individual entries opens April 1, 2026 and team registration opens April 8, 2026. Registration closes September 17, 2026.
