Welling10K event details
Welling10K is a road running event on 11 October 2026 at Cog Park, Evans Bay in Wellington. The event offers two distance options:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Entries include an official timing chip and registration, a Welling10K finishers' patch, and eligibility for age group podium prizes. The organiser is considering two possible 10 km routes and will select one based on the wind forecast shortly before the race: one route heads north toward Oriental Bay and back, the other heads south toward the airport and back. Both route options start and finish at Cog Park, Evans Bay.
Registration remains open until 10 October 2026 at 17:00. Early pricing applies for the first 25 entries to the 10 km; later entry fees increase in September and October as specified by the organiser. Group discounts for teams of five or more are available.
