Weiser River 50K Ultra & Relay
The event is a 50-kilometer point to point race along the Weiser River Trail from Council to Midvale, Idaho, with relay and adaptive athlete options. The finish is at Midvale Community Park. The trail follows a former railroad bed converted to a National Recreation Trail and runs alongside the Weiser River through canyons and open farmland.

The trail surface includes stony railroad ballast, dirt, and some paved crossings near towns. The course has very little elevation change, and organizers describe it as appropriate for early season running. Aid stations also serve as exchange points for relay teams and are placed roughly as follows: Council to Mesa Siding 6.1 miles, Mesa Siding to Goodrich 6.9 miles, Goodrich to Cambridge 9.1 miles, Cambridge to Shoepeg 5 miles, and Shoepeg to Midvale 4.1 miles.
A shuttle from Midvale to Council is available on race morning for solo runners. There is no shuttle from the finish back to the start after the event. Registration closes April 6, 2026; registering by that date is required to be guaranteed event swag. There are no cancellation refunds, but entries may be rolled to the following year by contacting the race director.
