Valentine's Heartbreaker Marathon & Relay
Valentine's Heartbreaker Marathon & Relay is scheduled for February 8, 2026 in Greensboro, North Carolina, at Country Park (3905 Nathanael Greene Dr., Greensboro, NC 27455). The event brings over 1000 participants to the park each February and uses a loop course at Country Park.
Event formats include:
- Solo Division : 16 laps, 26.2 miles
- 2 Person Relay Team
- 4 Person Relay Team
- 5 to 8 Person Relay Team
Every participant receives a hoodie, a finisher medal, and post race food. Hoodie guarantee requires registration at least three weeks before race day. Registered runners aged 21 and over are eligible for a complimentary brew from Oden Brewing. The event features a tent village and on site entertainment; participants may set up tents and a relaxation area while not running.
Relays use baton chip timing and solo runners use bib chip timing. Teams must alternate runners and complete individual laps in sequence to be eligible for awards; a team captain is responsible for packet pickup items such as hoodies, baton, and bibs.
