Event Overview
The Webster Loch Leven Half Marathon is organized by Kinross Road Runners and will be held on Sunday, 10 May 2026. The event has a participant limit of 900 runners.
The Route
The course is a circumnavigation of the shores of Loch Leven and is described as gently undulating. The event is held on closed roads under a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO), managed by traffic specialists and volunteer marshals.
Participation and Rules
The event is open to runners aged 17 or over on race day. It is run under UK Athletics Rules and holds a Scottish Athletics permit. It will also incorporate the East District Half Marathon Championship; participation in the championship requires a valid Scottish Athletics membership at the time of entry. The use of headphones is forbidden unless they are bone conductors or medically prescribed. A time limit of 3 hours is enforced for the course.
What's Included
Entry includes a finisher medal and a running scarf for all participants. A technical T-shirt in male or female sizing is available on entry but will not be available on the day.
Logistics
Race numbers are posted to participants in advance and are not exchangeable. The start is on Clashburn Road, approximately 1.2 miles from the main event centre at the Loch Leven Community Campus. Facilities at the event centre include toilets, changing facilities, and a bag store. There are four water stations on the route and bottled water at the finish. Car parking is limited.
Other Details
Prizes are awarded in all runner categories as well as for male and female teams. A prize of £250 is offered for breaking the male or female course record.
