Santa & Elf Dash 2025 : Cammo Nature Reserve
The Santa & Elf Dash 2025 is a festive trail run held at Cammo Nature Reserve in north-west Edinburgh on Sunday 21 December 2025. The route follows riverside paths, open fields, and passes historic landmarks. The course includes narrow paths, steps, and small wooden bridges; it may be muddy or frosty depending on weather. The event is organised by Blast Running and expects about 250 participants.
Distances, entry and extras
- Elf Dash: approx. 1K : all ages welcome
- 5K: ages 11+
- 10K: ages 17+
Entry fees listed for the event are: 1K £5 (donated to Young Lives vs Cancer), 5K £10, and 10K £15. Each entry includes a minimum £1 donation to Young Lives vs Cancer. There is a collection point for Edinburgh Food Project for non-perishable items. Festive dress is optional. All finishers receive a medal, and there is a hot chocolate and cookie station at the finish. The organiser recommends trail shoes or grippy trainers because of possible muddy or frosty ground.
