Wythenshawe Community Run 10k in memory of Mike Dunne
The Wythenshawe Community Run 10k is scheduled for 5 March 2026 at Wythenshawe Park Athletics Track. The organisers describe this as the third running of their 10k race held in memory of Mike Dunne. Entry is limited to 300 places, with a virtual option available. The listed entry price is £18.

The course starts and finishes on the running track and runs mostly on unsealed paths and tracks around Wythenshawe Park. Paths are described as wide and solid underfoot with no concrete; the organisers characterise it as a cross-country style route without mud and mostly flat. The community run previously offered free 2k and 5k events at Wythenshawe Park for four years and has held memorial and fundraising runs since 2023.
Past fundraising supported St Ann’s Hospice and Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group; earlier events raised £1,000 for each charity in the first year and £1,500 the following year.
