WCR Mike Dunne 10k

The Wythenshawe Community Run 10k In Memory of Mike Dunne is a multi-terrain race held in Wythenshawe Park. The event serves as a memorial to honor the legacy of a local community member and aims to raise funds for St Ann's Hospice and the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group. The race is professionally chip timed and has a field limit of 300 participants.

The course features a start and finish on the Wythenshawe Park Athletics Track. The route consists mostly of unsealed paths and tracks throughout the park grounds. These paths are wide and solid underfoot without the use of concrete. The organizer describes the terrain as similar to a cross-country run but without mud. The layout is primarily flat and fast.
