Wayzata Turkey Trot
The 2nd Annual Wayzata Athletics Boosters Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. The route moves through the school campus and the streets north of the high school.
The event has a family friendly focus and is open to runners and walkers of varying abilities. The main distance is 5K; the course starts and finishes next to the stadium at Wayzata High School and loops through nearby neighborhoods.
All participants receive a race day stocking cap and post race refreshments. Music is provided after the run and refreshments are available before Thanksgiving festivities. The event is organized by Wayzata Athletics Boosters.
