Event details

The Waynesville 5K is a community 5-kilometre road event in Waynesville, Ohio. The course starts and finishes at Waynesville Junior High School. Walkers, runners, strollers, and dogs are welcome. Snacks and drinks are provided after the race at the Hometown Expo inside the school gymnasium. Awards are distributed at the Hometown Expo. Race results are updated as participants finish and are available on the Key Sports website and via the ITS YOUR RACE app.

Registration, shirts, and policies

Registration fees and shirt availability follow these windows:

Through February 28: 5K $30 with shirt guaranteed; shirt only $25.
March 1 through March 14: 5K $35 with shirt guaranteed; shirt only $25.
March 15 through race day: $40; shirt not guaranteed.

Youth 10 and under receive a $5 discount. Shirts are guaranteed through March 15; 2XL and 3XL shirts cost an additional $2. Transfers to another participant are permitted through March 15. There are no refunds and race items will not be mailed. Organizers may reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual race for weather, public safety, pandemic guidance from the State of Ohio, or other reasons.
