Waverley Dash - 2026
Waverley Dash is an approximately 10 km trail race held on 6 September 2026 in the south east of Sheffield. The route passes around Waverley Lakes, located between Handsworth and Treeton. The course is fairly flat and entirely off-road, running around lakes, associated trails and fields.
The course is fully marshalled. Surfaces can become muddy in wet conditions, so trail shoes are advised when the ground is soft. Race headquarters is located at the side of the lakes; coordinates 53°22'40.2"N 1°21'45.4"W and what3words items.dishes.flap are provided for the location. The event has a race permit (2026 - 31606).
Minimum age to enter is 16. Online entries open 24 July 2026 and close 4 September 2026. Entry fees listed for online registration are UKA £6 and non-UKA £8, and no entries are available on the day. Transfers of names are allowed before the entry close date; refunds are not offered.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall, plus first male and female in V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories. A small number of spot prizes will also be given.
