Waverley Dash - 2026
Waverley Dash is an approximate 10 km off-road trail race held in the south east of Sheffield. The route circles Waverley Lakes, located between Handsworth and Treeton, and runs on trails and fields that can become muddy in wet conditions. The course is described as fairly flat and is fully marshalled.
Race headquarters are at the side of the lakes with provided coordinates and what3words location. Parking is available at the AMRC training centre carpark, just off Stevenson Way near Olive Lane, postcode S60 5BN, with a separate walking route to Race HQ. Public transport options include local bus services from Sheffield and from Rotherham that stop in the Waverley area.
Entries are open through SiEntries with a minimum age of 16 on the event date. Online entry fees are listed by category. There are no entries on the day and refunds are not offered, but name transfers are permitted before the entry close date. A race permit is recorded for the event.
Prizes will be awarded for overall places and for veteran categories 40, 50, 60 and 70 for both men and women, and a small number of spot prizes will also be given. Dogs and headphones are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
