Event Details
The Waupaca Area Triathlon is a multi-sport event held in Waupaca, Wisconsin, taking place over two days. The main events occur on August 15, 2026, with a Kid's Triathlon scheduled for the evening of August 14, 2026. The event base is at South Park on Shadow Lake, located at 921 S Main Street.

Participants can choose from a wide range of events:
- Long Course
- Short Course
- Aqua/Bike Long Course (swim and bike only)
- Paddling Short Course (paddling instead of swimming)
- Long Course Relay (team event)
- Short Course Relay (team event)
- Youth Triathlon for ages 10-17
- Kid's Triathlon for ages 4-10, with specific age brackets: 4-6, 7-8, and 9-10.
- The Veleker- 1st Timers Triathlon for ages 11-99.
Course Description
The course starts with an out-and-back swim in Shadow Lake. The bike segment travels through the countryside southeast of Waupaca. The run portion takes place on the streets of downtown Waupaca.

Packet pick-up is available at South Park on the days before the event. Early pick-up is listed for Friday, August 15, 2025, with day-of pick-up on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
