Event Overview
The First Mondays Summer Trail Series is a three-event trail running series. It takes place at the Iola Winter Sports Club in Iola, Wisconsin. The races are scheduled for the first Mondays of June, July, and August, with the final event serving as the series championship.
Distances and Activities
The main event is a 5 km trail race. Each monthly event features a different course. Alongside the 5 km, there is a separate "vertical challenge" race where participants run from the bottom of ski jumps to the top on a different hill each event. A free 1 km race is available for kids.
Event Details
This is an untimed event. Participants can earn points throughout the series, which convert into raffle tickets for a giveaway at the final August event. Day-of registration is available for each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
