Sturgeon Shuffle 10K / 5K
Sturgeon Shuffle is a running event on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at New London Middle School, 1000 W. Washington Street, New London, WI 54961. The event includes a 10K road run and a 5K run/walk that use an out and back course on County Highway X along the Wolf River. Both distances are chip timed at start and finish. The event is named after the spring sturgeon run.

Registration for the events includes an event shirt. The event is presented by First State Bank. Dogs on a leash are permitted on the course. There is a team competition with additional awards for the top team based on overall time and place for the top three participants.
Proceeds benefit local and regional backpack and nutrition programs, including Project Backpack New London, Project Backpack Waupaca which serves the Waupaca, Manawa, Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, and Amherst school districts, and the Compassionate Connections Center Nutrition Mission in Clintonville.
