Watershed Endurance 6Hr/3Hr Runs
The Watershed Endurance event features two timed runs held at the Watershed Nature Center in Edwardsville, Illinois on 08/08/2026. The event uses a 1.01 Mile loop around the center and is hosted by Final Lap Racing.
Distances
- 6 hour timed event on a 1.01 Mile loop
- 3 hour timed event on a 1.01 Mile loop
Participants may run, jog, walk or take breaks between loops. The objective is to record as many miles as possible within the 3 or 6 hour time limits. The field is limited to 120 participants. After sunset, participants must wear a headlamp, waist lamp or carry a light.
Packet pickup and in-person registration will take place in front of the Watershed Nature Center Welcome Center on race day. An aid station tent near the Welcome Center will offer water, an electrolyte drink, energy gels, fruit, snacks and first aid. No cooked food will be provided and the event will be cup free. Restrooms are available inside the Welcome Center and in the parking lot near the basketball and sand volleyball courts. City permits prohibit grills and open flames on the property.
The course surface is roughly half crushed limestone and half pavement. Course direction alternates each year between clockwise and counterclockwise. Live results will be posted during the event and on UltraSignUp within 24 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
