St. Louis Track Club Frostbite Series 2026-2027
The Frostbite Series is an annual winter race series organized by the St. Louis Track Club in Forest Park. The series offers both short and long options across five weekend dates in December, January, and February. Registration opens in late summer 2026 and single race entries are available in addition to full series entries.
Short series distances include:
- 3K
- 2 mile
- 5K
- 4 mile
- 3 mile
Long series distances include:
- 12K
- 10 mile
- 20K
- Half Marathon
- 15K
Race dates pair a short and a long distance on each day: Dec. 12, 2026 (3K / 12K); Dec. 26, 2026 (2M / 10M); Jan. 9, 2027 (5K / 20K); Jan. 23, 2027 (4M / 13.1M); Feb. 6, 2027 (3M / 15K). All races start and finish near the Forest Park Visitors Center and course maps are provided for each distance.
All series participants receive a collectable shirt and a finisher's medal. Aid and safety stations along the course offer water and sports drink in cups; hydration bottles, belts, and vests are allowed. Packet pickup is available the Friday before the first race from 12 to 6 pm and on race mornings inside the Visitor Center starting at 7 am. Races are held rain, snow, or shine and will only be canceled for severe weather or unsafe road or course conditions. Shoes in any condition are collected at registration to benefit the club scholarship fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
