St. Louis Track Club Frostbite Series 2026–2027
The Frostbite Series is an annual winter race series organized by the St. Louis Track Club in Forest Park. The event offers two series options, Short and Long, with multiple distances scheduled across December, January, and February.
Short Series distances include:
- 3K
- 2M
- 5K
- 4M
- 3M
Long Series distances include:
- 12K
- 10M
- 20K
- Half Marathon
- 15K
Race dates for the 2026–2027 season pair a short distance with a long distance on each race day: Dec. 12, 2026; Dec. 26, 2026; Jan. 9, 2027; Jan. 23, 2027; and Feb. 6, 2027. All Frostbite races start and end near the Forest Park Visitors Center.
All series participants receive a collectable shirt and a finisher's medal. Course aid stations provide water and sports drink in cups; personal hydration bottles, belts, and vests are allowed. Packet pickup is available the day before the first race and on race mornings at the Visitor Center, and bibs are used for the duration of the series with replacements available at race morning packet pickups.
Races are held rain, snow, or shine and will only be canceled for severe weather or unsafe course conditions. Athletic shoe donations are collected at registration to benefit the Track Club scholarship fund. Registration opens in late summer 2026, and single-race registration is available in addition to full-series entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
