Waterman's Triathlon Festival
Waterman's Triathlon Festival takes place in Rock Hall, Maryland on October 3 and 4, 2026. The festival comprises triathlon, aquabike and relay events offered at long course half, Olympic and sprint distances.
Open water swims are held in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, with the harbor providing shelter from significant wind and chop. Bike routes use paved rural roads with rolling sections on the longer courses and wide shoulders on most stretches. Run courses are flat and pass through nautically themed neighborhoods and side roads of Rock Hall.
Event distances include:
- Long Course Half: 1.2 Mile swim; 56 Mile bike; 13.1 Mile run.
- Olympic Course: 1.5K swim; 25 Mile bike; 6.2 Mile run.
- Sprint Course: 750 Meter swim; 15 Mile bike; 5K run.
Aquabike options are offered for the same swim and bike distances without the run. Relay teams consist of two to three members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
