Waterman's Triathlon Festival

Waterman's Triathlon Festival takes place over two days, Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4, 2026, in Rock Hall, Maryland (21096 W. Sharp St., Rock Hall, MD 21661). The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Course features include a time trial swim in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, a largely rural bike course with wide shoulders, and a flat run route through local neighborhoods.

Race format, eligibility and inclusions

Long course races are open to ages 16 and older; Olympic and Sprint events are open to ages 12 and older. The swim uses a time trial start with two athletes sent every few seconds; an Elite Box Start is used to position top contenders at the front. Registration includes a finisher medal, long-sleeved tech shirt, custom race socks, packet pickup reusable bag, timed results, age group awards, a post-race meal, finisher certificate, and free finish-line photos.
