Event Information
The Waterloo Citizens for a Pool St. Paddy's Day 5K takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Waterloo, Illinois. The start and finish location is the Monroe County Courthouse Bandstand at 100 S Main St.
Two events are offered:
- A 5K run and walk.
- A free Fun Run for kids.
Registration for the 5K costs $20, with a reduced fee of $15 for participants aged 1-12. The price increases after February 28, 2026. The Fun Run is free but does not include a t-shirt; shirts can be purchased separately. Registering by March 3, 2026, guarantees a shirt.
Awards and Logistics
Awards are presented for Overall Male and Overall Female finishers, as well as in age group categories: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
Packet pickup is available at two locations. Early pickup is on Thursday, March 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hopskeller Brewing in Waterloo. Race day packet pickup is at the Monroe County Courthouse Bandstand.
