Waterloo 10 KM Classic 2026
The event takes place on June 20-21, 2026 at University of Waterloo, Field 7, Frank Tompa Drive, Waterloo, ON, Canada. Distances offered include:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 3 km
- 200 m (Klassic Kids)
- Big Dipper (5k + 10k, 15 km total)
- Little Dipper (5k + 3k, 8 km total)
Courses are certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Race courses and route maps are provided for each distance.
Race format, entries and rules
The 10 km, 5 km and 3 km finishers receive medals; T-shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. The Klassic Kids 200 m is an individual, untimed fun run for children 12 and under and includes a finisher medal and bib. Parents or guardians may accompany children in the 200 m; if a parent is registered in a timed event they may run the 200 m without additional registration or fee. Stroller passengers are free but must be registered; a stroller must be pushed by a participant registered in a different sub-event.
Entry fees vary by event and registration period. Examples: 10 km entry starts at $40 + processing fee and increases for later registration windows; Klassic Kids 200 m is listed at $13.14. Refunds are not available; deferrals and transfers follow the event registration policy. Courses are marshaled and signed, may change with municipal needs, and carry a time limit of 10 minutes per kilometer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
