Event
The Waterloo 10 KM Classic 2026 takes place at the University of Waterloo, Field 7, Frank Tompa Drive in Waterloo, ON on June 20 and June 21, 2026. The event is the 49th annual edition and features several races and youth fun runs. Courses are certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Race routes are marked and marshaled; courses may change with municipal needs.

The 5 km is scheduled for June 20 and the 10 km and 3 km for June 21. The kids' 200 m fun run is offered on both days for children 12 and under; it is untimed and includes a finisher medal and bib. Participants may enter combined events: the Little Dipper is the 5 km plus the 3 km for a total of 8 km, and the Big Dipper is the 5 km plus the 10 km for a total of 15 km. Stroller occupants are free but the stroller driver must register separately in a timed event; strollers must be accompanied by a participant in a different sub-event.
Finisher medals are included for main distances; t-shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. Entry fees vary by event and by registration date. Refunds are not available; deferrals and transfers are outlined in the registration waiver. A time limit of 10 minutes per kilometer applies on course, with specific enforcement for the 10 km.
