Waterloo 10 KM Classic 2026
The Waterloo 10 KM Classic returns to Waterloo, Ontario, for its 49th annual edition. This multi-day running event features a range of distances and is open to all participants. The courses are officially certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 3 km
- 200 m (Kids' fun run)
- Big Dipper (5 km and 10 km combination)
- Little Dipper (5 km and 3 km combination)
The event schedule is split across two days. The 5 km race takes place on Saturday evening, while the 10 km and 3 km distances are held on Sunday morning. The Klassic Kids' 200 m fun run, intended for children aged 12 and under, occurs on both days. For those seeking an extra challenge, the Dipper categories allow runners to complete two separate races over the weekend, totaling either 8 km or 15 km.
Registration includes a finisher medal for participants. Event t-shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. Strollers are permitted and can be registered for free, provided they are accompanied by a participant registered in a timed event.
