About the race
Guelph Santa Parade Run 2026 is an all‑Santa running event held in Downtown Guelph on December 5, 2026. Participants run a three kilometre course along the Santa Parade route immediately before the Guelph Community Santa Parade passes along the same course. Santa suits are provided as part of registration and are worn by all participants. The published route is currently tentative pending updates from the City of Guelph about construction.
Registration shows limited spots and tiered pricing that increases closer to the event date. Proceeds from the event support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph; fundraising activity and donations are part of the event program and a fundraising total is reported. There are three opportunities to pick up the included Santa suit at nearby locations, including The Running Works and at the start line behind the River Run Centre. Volunteer roles listed for the event include course marshals directing runners on the course and two lead bikes. Following the run, the Guelph Community Santa Parade travels down the same course; participants may remain to watch the parade.
