Water Gap 50K & Half

- 50K
- 25K
The trail surface is mainly rail-trail cinder with some singletrack. The course is described as non-technical and rolling, mainly flat and mainly fast. The route is marked with pink survey flags, sparser on open trail and denser at turns and intersections. The 50K turnaround requires runners to pick up poker chips and carry them to the finish. The 25K turnaround is located at the second aid station; the 25K course measures slightly long.
There are three aid stations offering drinks, snacks, and some Huma gels. Runners must make their bib visible at aid stations and call out their number for tracking. The event is cupless; runners should bring a cup. Drop bags are accepted at Bushkill Access and must be marked with bib number and last name; they are returned after the final runner clears Bushkill. Smithfield Beach and Eshback Access have pit toilets or portos. Entry includes event production, a finisher gift, post race food, and an event T with guaranteed sizes for earlier registrants. Five dollars from each entry supports trail maintenance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
