Point to Point NJ
Point to Point NJ is a self-supported road race offering a long-distance point-to-point course across New Jersey. The main event covers a 200 mile route from High Point, NJ to Cape May, NJ. A separate 50K option also starts in High Point and finishes near Lake Hopatcong, NJ.
Runners may choose any route between start and finish locations with the exception of the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, Atlantic City Expressway, I-80, I-95, I-280, I-78, or any other roadways, easements, or trails that are off limits to pedestrian foot traffic.
Entry requirements differ by distance. Competitors for either distance must be at least 18 years of age as of October 9, 2026. Applicants for the 200 mile event must submit a running resume with links to results and must have completed at least one 100 mile race, road or trail, within the last three years. The Point to Point NJ 200 Event Request option is used to apply; approved applicants receive an email with a link to register. Submitting an event request has no cost; the registration fee for the 200 mile event is $300. The Hopatcong 50K is open to all competitors and carries its own registration fee.
All competitors must provide an emergency point of contact. 200 mile entrants are encouraged to provide a point of contact from within their crew. Race details and policies are provided in the Runner and Crew Guide. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
