WashU PT Run for Research 5K Run/Walk
The WashU PT Run for Research 5K is a fundraising run and walk held in Saint Louis on April 12, 2026. The event supports the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, a nonprofit dedicated solely to funding and developing physical therapy research. It is organized by students in the Washington University School of Medicine Physical Therapy program.
The event takes place at the Sons of Rest Pavilion in Tower Grove Park, Saint Louis, MO 63116. Expected participants include members of the Saint Louis community, Washington University students and faculty, the WashU PT department (professors, staff, students, patients), physical therapists in the community, and their patients.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two locations: Friday, April 11 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Big River Running Company – University City Store, 606 North and South Rd, University City, MO 63130; and Saturday, April 12 from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM at the Sons of Rest Pavilion in Tower Grove Park.
Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers, the top non-binary finisher, and for age groups 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, and 40 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
