The Michael J. Fox Foundation Washington D.C. Run/Walk
The Michael J. Fox Foundation hosts a community Run/Walk at Virginia Highlands Park - Hearts Field in Arlington, VA on June 7, 2026. The event is part of the foundation’s Run/Walk Series, launched in 2017, which has expanded nationwide and has raised over $10.1 million while engaging more than 33,800 participants.
The event offers family-focused activity and information about Parkinson’s disease and local support resources. Registration for listed races is free and includes a race bib and a finisher medal. Participants who raise funds before the event qualify for additional items: raising $100 earns a Run/Walk t-shirt on event day, and raising $500 or more qualifies for further rewards. All event proceeds fund research to accelerate treatments and work toward a cure.
