Warrior Way 5K
The Warrior Way 5K is a student-organized trail event at George Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove, Nevada on September 27, 2026. The Student Council hosts the race and proceeds support school fundraising.
The course is a natural trail that crosses creeks and logs and passes through areas with many trees, rocks, and wildlife. The route is not stroller friendly and pets are not allowed on school property. The event is planned to run in rain or snow and refunds are not available; snow shoes are welcome if needed.

- 5K trail run
- 800 meter fun run for children
The fun run includes popsicles for finishers and all kids receive a fun prize. Race participants may receive medals and hot chocolate is available. T-shirts are sold separately and were designed by the students. Registration categories listed include the 5K, the Warrior Dash fun run, a sponsor tent option, and a "stay in bed" participation choice. A sponsor tent is available for a donation and sponsorship proceeds are designated for the student class fundraiser.
