Warrington Way
The Warrington Way is a challenging 40-mile ultramarathon trail race that takes place in the picturesque village of Lymm, Cheshire. The route, which is primarily trail-based, allows runners to navigate through tracks, footpaths, and country lanes while circumnavigating Warrington. Participants must carry maps for navigation, although the course is waymarked.
There are well-stocked checkpoints at various intervals, and all finishers receive a technical T-shirt and medal, along with a hot meal at the finish line. The event is organized by Lymm Runners and is licensed by the Trail Running Association, ensuring a well-managed experience for all competitors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
