Warrington Way 40-mile Ultra

The Warrington Way is a 40-mile ultramarathon trail race that starts and finishes in the Cheshire village of Lymm. The route circumnavigates the town of Warrington anticlockwise and is run mainly on tracks, footpaths, field crossings and country lanes. The course is waymarked, but runners are required to carry maps and be able to navigate. There are well-stocked checkpoints at the 10-mile, 21-mile and 30-mile points. A hot meal is provided at the finish for all runners; finishers may also receive a technical T-shirt if ordered in advance and a medal. The event is organised by a running club, is UK Athletics registered, licensed by the Trail Running Association and has oversight from Warrington Borough Council.
