Warrington Way is a 40-mile ultramarathon starting and finishing in the Cheshire village of Lymm. Runners follow a route on tracks, footpaths and lanes to circumnavigate Warrington anticlockwise. The course is waymarked, but participants must carry maps and navigate.

Checkpoints at 10, 21 and 30 miles and a hot meal are provided at the finish. Finishing runners receive a Warrington Way technical T-shirt (ordered in advance) and a medal. The event is club-organised, UK Athletics registered, and licensed by the Trail Running Association with Warrington Borough Council oversight.

The 2025 edition takes place on Saturday 8 November with 350 places for solos, pairs or relays. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details! This page may contain affiliate links.
