Wango Tango

Wango Tango is an outdoor endurance event at City Lake Park in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The program combines trail running and a timed mountain bike endurance race on the City Lake trail system.

Trail running includes:

• 5K trail run on City Lake trails
• 10K trail run on City Lake trails

The mountain bike portion is a four-hour endurance race with solo and team relay options, including two-person and four-person team classes and junior team divisions. Award categories cover solo male and female classes, junior solo classes, relay classes by team composition, and separate E-bike solo classes. Only class 1 E-bikes are permitted. The event will be electronically timed.

Equipment and entry details include required helmets for all mountain bike competitors and at least one light source per rider. Registration fees listed are $50 per mountain bike racer ($30 for juniors), $40 for the 10K trail run, and $30 for the 5K trail run. The event is unsanctioned; all participants must sign a waiver and minors require a parent or guardian signature.

Logistics note that parking at the trailhead/pit is reserved for volunteers. Participants must use designated parking areas and may ride or drop off equipment before parking. Bike racks will be provided in the pit. Proceeds support the Borderline chapter of the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists and volunteer trail advocacy.
