Sager Creek Triathlon

The Sager Creek Triathlon takes place on June 7, 2026, at the JBU Walton Lifetime Health Complex in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Two event options are listed for the day: a sprint distance and an international distance.

  • Sager Creek Triathlon Sprint: swim 300 yards, bike 12 miles, run 2 miles.
  • Sager Creek Triathlon International: swim 600 yards, bike 24 miles, run 4 miles.

The swim is held in a 25 yard pool. Competitors complete either 12 or 6 down-and-back laps depending on the distance. There is a single transition area accessed by walking from the pool through a hallway; the transition area includes a bike entrance and exit and a separate run exit.

The bike course leaves the transition area headed down a hill and turns right at the end of the parking lot. The route continues onto main roads through and outside of town toward the city lake and returns. The bike course features rolling hills and open road sections.

The run follows the walking trail around the JBU campus and finishes in the parking lot next to the tennis courts. The course stays mostly on sidewalks and the Dogwood Springs Walking Trail and includes a fairly steep hill on University Street about midway through the run.

Packet pickup is at Phat Tire Bike shop, 101 S Broadway, Downtown Siloam Springs. Parking is available in front of and slightly downhill from the Lifetime Walton Health Complex. The event schedule is listed as TBD. Events are open to ages 18 to 200. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
