Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance
This event in Gentry, Arkansas, uses a repeated-loop elimination format on a marked course. Participants run a 1 mile loop and must complete each loop within 20 minutes to remain in the race. Each new loop starts exactly 20 minutes after the previous loop, and runners must be at the start line to begin the next loop.
At check-in each participant provides a $20 contribution that is added to the event prize pot when a runner is eliminated. The final runner who successfully completes a loop within the time limit receives the full prize pot. If no runner completes a loop within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event. The final prize amount depends on the number of entrants.
Race rules require following the marked course and prohibit shortcuts, external pacing, or outside assistance. Participants may rest, refuel, and hydrate between loops but must be ready to start the next loop on time. Race officials have final authority on disputes. The event will proceed in typical weather unless officials determine conditions are unsafe; the director may pause, delay, or cancel for extreme conditions.
Registration closes April 30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
