Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance
The event in Gentry, Arkansas uses a lap elimination format. Participants must complete a one mile loop within 20 minutes. Any runner who fails to finish the loop in the time limit or who is not at the start line when the next lap begins is eliminated.
Each participant contributes a twenty dollar bill at check-in. When a runner is eliminated their contribution is added to the prize pot. The last runner who completes a loop within the time limit receives the full pot; the final prize amount depends on the number of entrants. If no runner completes a loop within the limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event.
Runners must follow the marked course and may not accept pacing or outside assistance. Participants may rest, refuel, and hydrate between laps but must be ready for the next start. Officials enforce the rules and have final authority on disputes and safety decisions.
