Event format

The event is a Last Person Standing format held in Gentry, AR, at 13616 Taylor Orchard Rd. Participants run repeated laps of a marked course that is 1 mile long. Each lap must be completed within 20 minutes. New laps start exactly 20 minutes after the previous lap. The event continues until no participant can complete a lap within the time limit.

Rules, prizes and logistics

Each participant provides a $20 entry contribution at check-in. When a participant is eliminated, their $20 is added to the prize pot. The last remaining runner who completes a lap within the time limit wins the full pot. If no runner completes a lap within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event. Runners must be at the start line at the start of each lap; late starts result in disqualification. No pacing, external aid, or outside assistance is allowed. Participants may rest, refuel, and hydrate between laps but must be ready to start on time. Runners must follow the marked course; shortcuts, unsportsmanlike behavior, or rule violations lead to disqualification. Race officials have final authority on disputes. The event will proceed in typical weather conditions unless officials deem conditions unsafe; in extreme weather they may pause, delay, or cancel. Registration closes Thu, Apr 30 at 11:59 PM CT.
