Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance
Last Person Standing in Gentry, AR is an elimination-style running event held at 13616 Taylor Orchard Rd. Participants run repeated 1 mile loops on a marked course. Each loop must be completed within 20 minutes or the runner is eliminated. New loops begin at 20 minute intervals and runners must be on the start line to continue.
Each entrant provides a $20 stake at check-in. When a runner is eliminated their stake is added to the event pot. The last runner who completes a loop within the time limit receives the full prize pot. If no runner completes a loop within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event.
The event is continuous until only one eligible participant remains or no participants can meet the time requirement. No external pacing or outside assistance is allowed; participants must be self-sufficient. Runners may rest, refuel, and hydrate between loops but must be ready to start when the next loop begins. Participants must follow the marked course; shortcuts, unsportsmanlike conduct, or rule violations can result in disqualification. Race officials make final decisions on disputes.
