Event Format
The Last Person Standing event takes place in Gentry, Arkansas, organized by Flint Creek Endurance. Participants must complete a 1-mile loop within 20 minutes. Each new loop starts exactly 20 minutes after the previous one begins. Runners must be at the start line for each loop to continue.
The event uses a continuous elimination format. It continues until only one competitor remains or no participant can complete a loop within the time limit. A runner is eliminated if they fail to finish a loop in 20 minutes or are not at the start line for the next loop.
Rules and Prize
No external assistance, pacing, or aid is allowed during the loops. Participants can rest and refuel between loops. All participants must follow the marked course. Race officials have the final say on any disputes or disqualifications.
Each participant contributes a $20 bill upon check-in. When a runner is eliminated, their $20 goes into the event prize pot. The last person standing wins the entire accumulated pot.
Logistics
The event proceeds in all weather conditions unless race officials deem it unsafe. In extreme weather, the race director may pause, delay, or cancel the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
