Event overview

Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance is a timed elimination running event in Gentry, AR, at 13616 Taylor Orchard Rd. The format uses a single 1-mile loop. Runners repeat the loop until only one competitor remains or no participant can complete a loop within the time limit.

Format and rules

Each loop must be completed within 20 minutes; failure to do so results in elimination. Subsequent loops start 20 minutes after the previous one, and runners must be at the start line to continue. No late starts are allowed. Participants must follow the marked course; shortcuts, unsportsmanlike conduct, or rule violations lead to disqualification. No pacing or external assistance is permitted. Runners may rest, refuel, and hydrate between loops but must be ready to begin the next loop on time. Race officials have final authority on disputes.

Prize pot and outcomes

Each participant contributes one $20 bill at check-in. When a runner is eliminated, their $20 is added to the event pot. The last remaining runner who completes a loop within the time limit receives the full pot. Prize size depends on the number of participants. If no runner completes a loop within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event.

Weather and cancellation

The event will proceed in most weather conditions unless officials deem conditions unsafe. The race director may pause, delay, or cancel the event for extreme weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
