Last Person Standing - Flint Creek Endurance
Last Person Standing in Gentry, Arkansas is an elimination-format running event held on a measured 1 mile loop. Runners repeat the loop in successive rounds under a fixed time limit. Each loop must be completed within 20 minutes; failure to finish a loop in the allotted time or failing to be at the start line for the next loop results in elimination.
At check-in each participant contributes a $20 entry note to the event pot. When a runner is eliminated their $20 is added to the pot. The final runner who successfully completes a loop within the time limit receives the full collected pot; the prize amount depends on the number of entrants. If no runner completes the final loop within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event.
The event requires self-sufficiency: no external pacing, outside assistance, or prohibited aid is allowed. Runners may rest, refuel, and hydrate between loops but must be present at the start line when the next loop begins. Participants must follow the marked course and obey race officials, whose decisions are final. Runners under 18 must have a parent or guardian onsite for the entire period of participation.
The event will proceed in most weather conditions unless officials determine conditions are unsafe, in which case the director may pause, delay, or cancel the event. Optional refund protection from a third party may be purchased at checkout to cover personal inability to participate; it does not cover event cancellation.
