Last Person Standing by Flint Creek Endurance
This event uses repeated one mile loops with a fixed time limit. Each runner must complete a one mile loop within 20 minutes to remain in the field. New loops begin exactly 20 minutes after the previous loop, and participants must be at the start line when a loop begins to continue.
Each participant receives a twenty dollar bill at check in. When a runner is eliminated they add their twenty dollars to the prize pot. The last remaining runner who successfully completes a loop within the time limit is declared the winner and receives the full pot. If no runner completes a loop within the time limit, no winner is declared and the pot may roll over to a future event.
No external pacing or outside assistance is allowed; participants must be self sufficient. Runners may rest, refuel, and hydrate between loops but must be ready to start on time. Participants must follow the marked course at all times; shortcuts or rule violations result in disqualification. Minors under 18 must have a parent or guardian onsite for the entire period of their participation.
The event will proceed in all weather unless race officials determine conditions are unsafe. Refund coverage may be available through an optional refund guarantee purchased at checkout; entry fees are otherwise non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
