Wandering Wolves 50k/25k/12k
Wandering Wolves is a trail race event organized by Wyco Wolfpack in Kansas City, KS at Wyandotte County Lake Park, starting from Shelter 16. Distances offered:
- 50k
- 25k
- 12k
The course is a large, winding clockwise loop that uses nearly all single-track trails. The route crosses the lake dam and does not use bridle trails. There are some rocks and roots on the trail, and the terrain is described as not overly technical.
Registration details note that entry includes a race shirt, aid, catered food, and beer. A properly sized T-shirt is guaranteed for entries made by September 13. A finisher hat is provided for 50k participants. All distances receive a custom medal and sticker. Entries after September 13 may not receive a guaranteed shirt or size. Race day signup is available with no guarantee of all swag items or correct sizes. Registration closes on September 24 at 11:59 PM CT.
