About the race
The Walsh Two Lads Fell Race is a Category B short fell race held in Horwich, starting beside the Bridge Inn. Covering 8.4 km (approximately 5 miles) with a 274m ascent, the course ascends onto the Pennines and reaches the Two Lads summit before descending back to the start. The event is sponsored by Walsh and organized by Horwich Harriers AC.
Registration and post-race presentations take place at The Ale House in Horwich. Prizes are awarded for top male and female finishers, veterans, biggest club turnout, and course record holders, with a £50 cash prize for record breakers.
