Two Lads Fell Race
The Two Lads Fell Race is a Category B short fell race organised by Horwich Harriers and sponsored by Walsh. The course is described as 8.4 km (also listed as 5 miles) with 274 m of ascent. The route starts at the side of the Bridge Inn in Horwich, climbs onto the Pennines and proceeds to Two Lads before the final descent back to the start.
Registration and post-race presentation take place at The Ale House in Horwich; the registration address is 36 Church St, Horwich, Bolton BL6 6AD. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third places in the male and female categories, with additional awards for male and female veteran categories and for the biggest club turnout. A cash prize of £50 is offered for setting the male or female course record.
Course records are recorded by year and time: male 00:30:24 (2021) and female 00:35:06 (2022).
