Event Details

The Walsh Two Lads Fell Race is a Category B short fell race. The route is approximately 8.4 km (5 miles) with an ascent of 274 meters.

The Route

The race starts at the side of the Bridge Inn in Horwich. The course climbs onto the Pennines, goes to Two Lads, and then descends back to the start. An online route map is available for viewing.

Registration & Prizes

Registration takes place at The Ale House on Church Street in Horwich. A presentation is held at the same venue after the race. Prizes are awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female finishers, as well as for male and female veteran categories. Additional prizes are given for the biggest club turnout and for breaking the course record, which carries a £50 cash prize for both men and women.
