Walking With the Dead 5K and 1 Mile Walk
Walking With the Dead is the 7th annual event held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. The event is organized by Columbus Rotary on behalf of the Columbus Rotary Foundation and the Green Lawn Cemetery Association, and it is sponsored by Green Lawn Cemetery and Jones Lumber.
Features listed for the event include a beer garden, costume prizes, and ghost tours. The scenic course passes many monuments and the graves of notable Central Ohioans, including several Ohio governors, Columbus mayors, artists and musicians, a World War I flying ace, and Civil War generals and veterans. All racers aged 21 and over receive a drink ticket valid for beer at the on-site beer garden.
