Walker Pickle Days 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
Walker Pickle Days 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is a community running event scheduled for July 25, 2026, at 306 Park St, Walker, IA 52352. The event includes a timed 5K and a separate 1-mile Fun Run for children.

Pre-registered participants for both races are guaranteed a t-shirt if registered before July 9, 2026; shirts and sizes are only guaranteed by that date. Late and race-day registrants may receive shirts only if supplies are available. Published registration fees include processing fees and taxes: the 5K fee is listed as $25 (earlier window) and $30 (later window), and the Fun Run fee is listed as $15; fees are subject to the event's registration schedule.
Awards include medals for the overall top male and female finishers in the 5K and prizes for the top two male and female finishers in each age division. Age divisions for men’s and women’s 5K results are: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. Winners must be present to receive awards.
Children age 12 and under may enter either race; children who register and participate in the Fun Run will receive a participation ribbon. Proceeds support the annual Pickle Days celebration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
