Walker Pickle Days 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
The event takes place on July 25, 2026 at 306 Park St, Walker, IA 52352 with registration managed at Walker City Park. It includes two running options and provides drinks and refreshments to all registrants. Pre-registered participants for both races are provided a t-shirt; late and race‑day registrants receive shirts only if available.

The 5K includes medals for the overall top male and female finishers and prizes for the top two male and female finishers in each age division. Age brackets for men’s and women’s divisions are: 10 and under; 11–15; 16–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60 and up. Kids age 12 and under may participate in the 5K but must pay the 5K fee rather than the Fun Run fee. All kids who register and participate in the Fun Run receive a participation ribbon. Awards and prizes are distributed following the conclusion of the Fun Run and recipients must be present to win.
Registration fees vary by date. For the 5K the listed amounts include processing and taxes and show $25.00 plus fees (displayed $28.45) for earlier registration and $30.00 plus fees (displayed $33.75) for later registration. The 1 Mile Fun Run shows $15.00 plus fees (displayed $17.85). Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed if registered before July 9, 2026.
