Friends of Kids with Cancer's Walk with a Friend
Friends of Kids with Cancer's Walk with a Friend is scheduled for April 11, 2026, at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park. The event raises funds for the Educational, Emotional, and Recreational programs run by Friends of Kids with Cancer. Course and logistics
Course descriptions specify that 5K and 10K runners use loop paths on the west side of the lake, while walkers use a one-mile path on the east side. All guests are asked to meet at the event area southeast of the pavilion and park bathroom before the start. Parking is available in unpaved overflow lots at the main entrance, with handicapped parking at the main entrance; additional parking is noted southeast of the park in a small lot and at the Creve Coeur South Boat Ramp. The organizer states the deadline for guaranteed t-shirts has passed; extra shirts were ordered and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
