Walk Tonbridge Marathon 2026
The Walk Tonbridge Marathon is a non-competitive charity walking event located in Tonbridge, England. As the primary event of the Walk Tonbridge Festival, this organized walk covers a distance of 26.2 miles through the surrounding countryside. All profits from ticket sales are donated to Sustain, a local food and fuel bank that provides emergency supplies to people in the community experiencing short-term need.
The route begins at Tonbridge Baptist Church and travels through scenic parks and villages around the local area. Participants navigate a course that concludes at the Tonbridge Old Fire Station. Along the way, several checkpoints are available for walkers to refill water bottles and use restroom facilities. There are also opportunities to stop for lunch at the participant's own expense.
Registration takes place at the starting location upon arrival. Included in the entry is a breakfast consisting of a hot drink and a breakfast roll, with vegetarian and vegan options provided. Upon reaching the finish line at Tonbridge Old Fire Station, participants receive a finishers medal and have access to a space to rest and gather with others.
