Walk to SOAR 5K and Kids Fun Run

This event is a community fundraiser hosted by EAGLES of Grace, a faith based mentoring program that uses a holistic social emotional learning approach. The program focuses on mentoring and supports academic development, mental and physical wellness, spiritual counseling, and financial literacy for youth and young adults.

The main event takes place at Quarry Park, 1790 Quarry Rd, Winston Salem, NC 27107, and uses a two loop course. The event includes a separate kids fun run. Packet pickup is available the day before at Brown and Douglas Rec Center, 4725 Indiana Ave, Winston Salem, NC 27106, and on race day at Quarry Park. The event is planned rain or shine and may be rescheduled for severe weather.

The event serves as an annual fundraising campaign to support EAGLES of Grace mentoring and educational programs. Sponsorship levels are offered from $250 to $5,000. Published entry fees are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the kids run; the kids run specifies ages 1 to 5 at no charge and ages 6 to 12 at $15.
