Mistletoe Run - Winston-Salem
The Mistletoe Run is an annual road race held on December 5, 2026, at the William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. This edition is the 43rd running of the event, traditionally held on the first Saturday in December.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- Half marathon
- 5K
- 1 mile Fun Run
The course is USATF sanctioned and organizers state the half marathon, 5K and 1 mile Fun Run courses have been updated and improved. The event includes family-oriented features such as bounce houses, music, cheerleaders, community mascots, and donuts at the finish line. Every participant receives a race shirt, and finishers in the 5K and half marathon receive medals as they cross the finish line.
Presented by Bell Davis and Pitt, the Mistletoe Run serves as the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina's largest fundraiser. Proceeds are directed to programs that assist children in the community, including financial assistance and funding for youth programming such as swim lessons, summer camp, and before and after school care.
