Reindeer Romp : event overview
The Reindeer Romp 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Mary Perry Ragsdale YMCA in Jamestown, North Carolina. The event supports the YMCA Annual Giving Campaign, which funds program and membership scholarships and several community programs, including LiveSTRONG cancer survivor classes, Parkinson’s Cycle classes, and adaptive swim lessons.

Logistics, fees and policies
Published registration fees include $30 for the standard 5k, $25 for the 5k no-frills option, $15 for the 1 mile, $25 for the virtual 5k, and $12 for the shirt-only option. Some fees increase after late July 2025. Shirt-only registration closes November 8, 2025, and race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after November 20, 2025.
The event refund policy states no refunds within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may be eligible for a 50% refund of the entry fee excluding processing fees. Entries cannot be deferred to another year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 fee; t-shirt sizes cannot be changed. If the race is canceled for reasons beyond the race director’s control, refunds will not be made; race packets, including shirts, will be made available at a location to be determined. A course map and packet pickup information are provided by the organizer. Sponsorships start at $500 and include logo placement on race shirts.
