Walk to End Alzheimer's - Owosso
The 3rd Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's is a community fundraising event held at the Memorial Healthcare NOW Building in Owosso, Michigan on October 3, 2026. The event centers on a 1 mile walk, roll, or run and includes an opening ceremony with an interactive Promise Garden experience that allows participants to recognize their personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
The schedule includes volunteer check-in and site setup, sponsor and vendor setup, participant arrival and a community gathering with vendor booths and light breakfast-themed snacks, followed by the opening ceremony and the group walk. A hydration station will be available along the route. The site includes a wheelchair-accessible area.
Registration is listed at $25 per participant and includes event participation, access to activities, refreshments, and the Promise Garden ceremony. Official event t-shirts are available for purchase during registration at additional cost: S–XL for $10, XXL–XXXL for $13. Quantities of t-shirts may be limited.
The Promise Garden uses colored flowers to express participants’ connections: yellow for caregiving, blue for those living with dementia, purple for remembering someone lost, orange for supporters of the cause, and white for hope for a future survivor.
